Chia Seeds – Where to get chia seeds

If you have a child who is fussy about his food and does not eat nutritious meals, you must constantly worry and feel a little guilty because you are not able to give him or her completely nutritious meals. You no longer have to feel this way because a few teaspoons of chia seeds added to your child’s favorite food will transform any meal into a healthy one.

Chia seeds are a very rich source of nutrients of all kinds needed for a healthy body and mind. The antioxidants in these seeds strengthen the immune system and help fight infections that commonly affect children. Chia seeds are tasteless and mildly flavored and can be easily added to any preparation without your child being aware of their presence. You can add them to shakes, smoothies, cakes, bread and any sweet, sour or spicy preparations. A few teaspoons of chia seeds added to a sufficient amount of water turns it into a gel after a few minutes and you can add this mixture to various preparations or you can add your favorite juice syrup, concentrate, powder or flavoring to this gel mixture and enjoy a healthy cold beverage.

You can add grounded or blended chia seeds to any meal. Children love brownies and a few teaspoons of chia seeds added to them make for highly nutritious ones.
